Much can be written
Much can be said
And the essence remains:
We
All
Heal with Love.

Much can be written
Much can be said
And the essence remains:
We
All
Heal with Love.
For The Daily Post

At the center of everything,
There’s heartbeat
And love.
At the center of everything,
Live intention
And compassion.
The currencies
Of empathy and growth,
The misty breath
Of light
Amidst the chaos.
At the center of everything,
Spin the threads that weave
Together
Soul and healing
Breadth and scope,
Into a tapestry
Of freedom
Peace and
Hope.
For The Daily Post
Breathe now
The light
That dances on the pavement
Filters between branches of bare trees
From winter sky.
Breathe now
Because the truth
Remains
In spite
Of images
Or imaginings
Of misplaced
Amplified
Fear.
Breathe …
Because above all,
Love.
Of life
Of nature
Earth
All babies
Freedom
Oxygen and gravity.
Love of
Heart strings and connection
Of compassion
And
The ties that bind.

For The Daily Post
There are a few things so precious as knowing one is seen, heard, known, accepted, cherished.
Loved.
As is.
Just because.
And no matter what or when or how or what else is most certainly going on that may well take front seat and burner.
Few things are as real to the core of one’s heart and to the moon and back again.
When I forget, in the bustle of the day-to-day annoyances and to-do lists and in the boggy mess of worry and all manner of variegated helplessness … I remember.
This.
A card from a dear friend who is no longer here in physical form, and who even as she struggled to find light at the end of the already quite dark tunnel of the illness that would soon after claim her life, still held the thought and found the energy to send me this.
Just because.
From India.
A transcript of caring.

When in doubt …
Uncertainty, shock, worry, grief …
Slow down. Take time.
Be still.
Make space. Breathe more.
Love more.
Hug more.
Hold on. Hold close.
Be.
You.

Sharing a link below to a fabulous set of photos from around the world, of parents with their children, doing the things parents and children do best: living life, sharing smiles, bonding, comforting, playing, laughing, being, holding … loving.
The locations are almost redundant, inasmuch as they portray universality, anyway.
Because we are, all of us, far more alike than different.
May our commonality be what leads humanity going forth, and not the smallish misconception of separation. After all, what seems different is insignificant once you strip reality down to its components: care, love, connection, hope.

For the children,
Wherever they were born and whoever they were born to
Whichever God their caregivers pray to
Whichever views they hold.
For the children,
Who hold our only future.
For the children,
Who do not know hate until its shown.
For the children,
Let us not lose hope.
For the children,
Let there be no more war, no terror, no annihilation.
For the children,
Let trafficking be gone.
For the children,
Let loss be not of own man’s hand.
For the children,
Let there be kindness
For all human kind.
For the children,
Let us find the threads that weave between us
To let them grow free, let them grow loved, let them grow strong.
