Tha-le Nai,

A turquoise gift.

In the cradle of life
Where all breathing
Begins
Rocks the ebb
Of all else
That we are
Deep within.

Tucked away in the weald
They heard a lone
Fairy sing
Of the flowers she weaves
And the whispers of leaves
Of old blooms
And new blues
And the elves in the yews.

As the stories unfold
Pried from time’s
Stranglehold
Bit by bit
You’ll behold
What the fingers
Of old
Would have seen
Could have told.

Undulating dunes
Slowly slide
To the sound
Of soft sand

Take a rest.
Rest your weight.
Old or new
There for you.
Scratched by love
Left by hate
It will let
The world wait
As you breathe
Quiet in
Quiet out
Soul inflate
Calm create.

May the wind
Fill your sail,
May your path
Never fail,
May you be spared
Facing gale
Or travail
And may good fortune
Prevail.

A basalt creek after the rain
Where mountains spewed onto the plain
Cold lava rock there still remains
The base for what’ll grow again.

As the world tilts between breath
And release,
As the sea ebbs and flows
Into peace,
I remember my core
The heartbeat
Of my soul,
Batteries filled again
Making my spirit
Whole.

Dancing light on the water
A bright night in the bay
Turning shimmering rainbows
To melted ink on display.
