It is unlike any other
Ever heard

As eternal
And familiar
As the beat that drums
Inside all living
Chests.

Unwound,
Revisiting.

A turn to grow.

Things nascent now that
Have not yet become –
All intertwined.
We’re none of us alone
Or separate.
Aware or not,
Collaboration
Is and always been
The only way
For life
Aligned.

Hope and love
May temporarily feel masked
But
Are the only
Permanence.

My life flows in the spaces
Between heart and mind
As I wait to unfold
Into what will evolve
Around corners
Behind bumps
Where possibility
Stands.

Some things in life mean more.
Or should.
To any.
Safety. Food. Clean water. Air. Shelter.
Connection to another.
Some things mean less.
Or can.
At least to many.
Money. Fame. Opinion. Power.
They swing in winds-of-value, superfluous.
For they can matter only if necessity already filled
One’s pantry.
