If I could have a pink
Ribbon
Large enough to show my love
Of you
Who fought
And lived
And fought
And passed
And fight on
Still,
I would need the whole breadth
Of sky
To mark
It’s size
And enlist the heavens
As both paint
And quill.

That is beautiful, and the photo is an excellent choice for it.

Yes, am amazing photo and the idea of a pink ribbon the breadth of the sky to honor survivors and those who have succumbed is captured beautifully with your poem! (Tears)…

Aw… Terri! Thank you!
My friend Karen is very talented with the camera and I’m profoundly grateful she lets me, very generously, use her photos in my posts. I thought of that photo immediately when I saw your prompt. It fit the feeling of how big and how all-encompassing this is for so many of us, all over the world, in so many ways. The sorrows for so many lost and … the courage of those still fighting … and … the hope of a new day. I’m so glad the sentiment was communicated!
