Stop to breathe,
Take in ease,
Back to bark in
Summer breeze.
Shadow’s cool
City’s still,
In the park
Time to chill.

🙂 Yes, I still remember the day I took this photo. Just a moment out of many moments of lovely summer afternoons in the park. The relaxation was palpable. 🙂

Thank you, Dale! One of my favorite photos from the park — taken some time ago but pretty much exemplifying what I love about the park. A busy city with places one can just be, in some privacy, and in calmness.
Haven’t quite made it outdoors today–sun feels a bit too bright yet … but getting there …
Enjoy the pool!

Was about to ask you about your eyeball/head…

Well, ’tis light till late and if it gets too dark, there’s always skinny dipping (or the somewhat clothed alternative, given company or neighbors … 😉 ).
My head is still screwed on (with or without some missing screws, which are loose or missing pretty much permanently so I don’t blame the migraine for THAT), and my eye is still there, too. Both of them, one a bit more tardy than the other still, but coming around … I’m better today. More postdrome than in the thick of it, so my hope and expectation is to be fine as a fiddle (no one said it has to be a NEW fiddle … ;)) by tomorrow AM for meetings and work.
One thing I gotta say about this migraine –it was very considerate of my clients to limit itself to the weekend, don’t you think? 😉

So. Finished at 10:30. Just might jump in anyway. Not sure. If my kids weren’t here, I’d definitely skinny dip! No one can see anything through my big-ass cedar hedge 😉
Quite considerate of this migraine to ruin your week-end. Uh huh. Quite.
Tomorrow is a holiday here in Qwaybec but it is also the 54th anniversary of the golf club and some big shindig is planned. So I work at 4 till… who knows what.
Hope all the screws (the important ones) find their way to the proper places and that you are pain-free come morning!
xoxo

Sublime image and haiku to extoll the virtue of stillness, Na’Ama! The perfect image!

Ah, thank you! 🙂
I do love the image, if only for how mundane and ordinary it is, and yet how exquisitely calm it felt and still feels. 🙂
