Isn’t archeology fab?
Sometimes I wonder what future people would think of the (ample) junk we leave behind … and if they will … and if not, what that’ll mean …
Meanwhile, I’m forever curious about learning more about times passed.

Oy … synchronicity of language and events has it that we just had a REAL crash (helicopter onto a building) in Manhattan. Details still coming in — the helicopter caught fire after the ‘hard crash landing’ in bad weather and there’s one person confirmed dead. Not sure about other casualties.

Yes I saw the headlines on BBC news last night at 11.00pm BST. Tragedies happen so suddenly. Lives of those who remain turned upside down.

Yes. Totally.
It could have been so much worse for so many more people had he not succeeded in crash-landing on the roof of one of the buildings … but for the pilot’s family, this is as worse as it gets.

And the others who’d been on the chopper with him I’m sure are forever changed indeed.

Indeed, some things you do not walk away from, you can only accommodate and try as best you can to hold the experience in check and avoid it becoming a contagion. Easier said than done.
