Hello there,
How are you, Ma’am?
I’ve missed a spot?
Oh well, oh damn.
There’s no perfection
On the lam
And I’ve really
Got to scram.
Have you seen some
Elves around?
I’ve been told to
Look for rainbows
At the end of
Traffic jams,
(And yes, I know the
Gold’s a scam
But I’ll still give it
An exam).
For Terri’s Sunday Stills: Green
She is smiling…

And a Happy St. Paddy’s Day to you as well (said with my very best Irish accent, if you please)

This is the worst language ever to try to learn. None of the letter combos make sense 😉
And I would have done the same.

Buahahaha!! Helluba lot easier to figure out though. I mean, where do they get “Leary” from Laoghaire? Or “kaylee” from cailidth? Seriously. They are just effing with our heads…

LOL! I’m not arguing … only that when did you last try to explain why “daughter” isn’t “du der” and “enough” isn’t “enuf” and “light” isn’t “lit” ….
Or as Lucy explained it perfectly:

I am of a mind that it’s smiling at the camera, or CERTAINLY having a bit of a conversation … 😉

Your green mantis is adorable–I love those little creatures! The poem was delightful and perfect for the green holiday! Celtic/Gaelic is a crazy language to read let alone pronounce (saw this in the comments) 🙂 That Lucy episode is the best!!

I love this photo, too!
Happy you found the poem enjoyable … and the comment exchanges were fun! Some of the best parts of posting can be the dialogue thereafter.
🙂
That Lucy episode NEVER fails to make me laugh.
