When corruption reaches levels

That even present swamps

Cannot contain

There comes a time

To open windows

And expel the source of pain.

Make a River

Make this rivulet

Of hope

Into a river

Of change.

Let a movement

For kindness

And the trickle

Of sooth,

Become a wave

Blue and wide enough

To hold the full depths

Of what should have always been

Self-evident truths.
