As you take the journey home,
May there be a light
To guide you.
As you take the journey home,
May all that’s necessary
Be with you.
As you take one step
After another,
May the energies
Sustain you.
And when you finally
Reach home,
May loving arms and hearts
Embrace you.

Ethiopia. My niece was there for a time, volunteering with disabled orphans. I love the photo so much!

Yes, she’s got a photographer’s eye, as do some of my other nieces and nephews–some of whom have taken formal instruction to enhance their skills. I’m reaping the benefits of their fantastic photos and their permission to utilize them as muse-fodder. 🙂

Gorgeous poem and image. Perfect for the season. I am featuring lights in my post this week. We are thinking along the same lines 🙂
