After the fire
Come the expelled breath
Of sorrow,
The stripped soul
Of Earth,
The charred remains
Of dreams,
And the held breath
Of hope.

Thank you! Fire is often a catalyst for some growth that otherwise does not happen. It does not make it less devastating, but there’s hope in the regrowing.
