Thank you … I’m one of those who would hold on to summer if I could … so I try to relish the beauty of autumn as a consolation prize to losing summer … 😉

I’m a late autumn & winter person myself.
Each season has its true beauty and value though.
I love the concept of autumn being your consolation prize for losing your summer, that is a beautiful way of putting the change of seasons.

I don’t hate any season (well, most days of most seasons … ;)) but I do prefer summer. I don’t think I’d like eternal summer — so someplace I am sure I appreciate the change of seasons and the rhythm of nature — still … I want the 80s back … 😉 (not the one with the poofy hair and shoulder pads and such … ).

Indeed ‘The 1980s’ were short on fashion-dignity!
This very hot summer was tough on myself and my wife (not our favourite), but the world turns and tilts in her journey around the sun and Life revolves around this pattern.
So we marvel at Life’s rhythms
