“Are you sure it will work?”
Tim’s chin bobbed up and down enthusiastically.
A bit too enthusiastically. It looked suspiciously like an I’m-clueless-but-want-to-pretend-I’m-not kind of nod.
Benny frowned. He had a bad feeling about the whole plan. “I still think we should have brought a proper pan.”
“Nah,” Tim waved his hand and pointed to the ball of molten orange glaring at them from the horizon. The light shimmered. “They said it was going to be hot enough to fry eggs.”
“In the carton? Don’t you need to crack them first?”
Tim shrugged. “We can always make hard boiled ones.”

Solar power. Definitely eco eggs. Nice one.

They might be quite disappointed. I think Tim is over optimistic.

LOL, yeah, I agree … (and I REALLY hope he doesn’t try to EAT the eggs … because that might land him in the ED …)

Triumph? Or not … π We shall see … but I think you are correct about the ‘experience’ not ending up all that it’s hoped to be … π

Na’ama Y’karah,
There’s a lot to be said for Tim’s optimism. I don’t think I’d want to eat one of those eggs after they’ve been sitting out in the sun. π Cute story.
When I saw the title my mind went to my kindergarten days when the other kids called me Small Fry. π

Ah, I was hoping it’ll come across ambiguous … π Yay. Success … (and those Kindergarten kids had heard this from some adults, I dare say…).
Tim’s adorable, but I would not eat his culinary creations. I don’t even want to start describing his idea of mudpies … π

Are you sure their names aren’t Tweedledee and Tweedledum? I guess the worst that can happen is they have egg on their faces.

I must have read this no knowing yesterday, or just not commenting because I already “liked” it, but I love it. Cook them in the container…!

LOL, yeah, I don’t think that works very well in the sun … but, hey, they get points for trying (and hopefully no Emergency Department visit for REALLY trying … π ).

LOL!!!! That was one scenario I did not expect, but yeah, if they ‘incubate’ them in the sun …. LOL

We all know a know it all who has got his wires crossed, but we don’t want to point out his mistakes – simple because he wouldn’t listen in any case. There is nothing like the experience of ‘getting it wrong’ to aid learning.
