Marble walls in carved glory
Hold
A marvel,
Home
For words
No longer
Kept
Small
But shared
With all.
Note: This fantastic photo was taken by my talented friend Inge Vandormael, at the New York Public Library building on 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue. Click here for some of history.

I used to hang out there sometimes between appointments in the City. (I lived in Connecticut and would come in by train for the day)

Yep, it’s a hop and a skip from Grand Central Terminal. π I used to have post graduate studies around there and went to the library often when I needed a change of setting, especially during months when Bryant Park was not particularly pleasant to hang out in weather wise. Beautiful and the Rose reading room is still an oasis of calm and quiet and study.
