π Truth is, I don’t mind heights. I even LIKE heights. It’s the milkshake effect I don’t particularly appreciate. Especially not since a car accident with whiplash lotta years ago, an inner-ear infection some years after that that made motion-sickness a plausibility in cars (let alone a blender), and a spine that seems disposed to spritzing disks in all directions as it is … I’m thinking, I’ve had my share of surgeons’ science experiment, and I’m better off holding on to whatever architecture I still have intact … π
So, yeah, I’m the official holder-of-bags and babysitter-of-strollers (and their inhabitants), and am known among my familiars as the “bench resident photographer” in all amusement park adventures. π
As the saying goes
(invented this moment, but who says it need to be old?):
“Go milkshake yourself with ease, and I will take your photo, pretty as you please.”

I am killing myself laughing here. (At your little ditty definitely not at your unfortunate trips to the ER and hospitals, mind. Not funny at all. I would definitely avoid any pain-inducing rides, myself. Matter of fact, there are those that I do.
I am no longer a fan of any spinny-teacup-y type ride any longer as my stomach no longer things it’s fun. At all.
This particular ride doesn’t spin so fast that it would cause that sensation, I should think.
And you can sit with my sister. She’s our official bag/kid/stuff holder…

Good, I’ll have your sister to gossip with as we chase toddlers and snap photos of hurling (or did I mean hurtling?) people on spinning, swinging, blending, upside-downing things. π

Hahaha! Thankfully, there are no more toddlers, so you can just sit back and relax as you gossip away.

Oh, in my family there are PLENTY of toddlers … (granted, they are now my sisters’ grands but we got us a whole bunch!). She can help run after ours … π
As for the spinning-tea-cuppy thingy — found you a video of a ride similar to the above:
Still wanna?

Yep. Just the ride in action … so you can see the little tea-cuppy-spinny-swirly thingy … π
Hey, you do you, girl!
We’ll be your bag ladies … LOL

Yeah. Just LOOKING at this makes me want to reconsider my second cup of coffee … (so I turned the video off and am back to my second cup of coffee … ;)).
So, you go on and do the flippy-tippy, and like I said, I’ll hold your bag … and take your photo! xoxo π

Yanno… I have not been to an amusement park in ages… I might chicken out now that I’m an “old fart” π

Ha! Well, speaking of …
A little boy who’d been to an amusement park over the winter break, had announced to me upon their return: “We went on the roller-coaster and it made Mama fart and she said it was Daddy but it had Mama fart smell.” π
(Kids do tell me all manner of things I could probably live without knowing about, but life would be a lot duller without those …).

Buahahahaha!!! That is too funny! Don’t be trying to fool kids… They KNOW…

Yep. Like the kid who’d announced to me “You’re already old so you’re almost going to die,” then added in a conciliatory tone, “but I think maybe not today.”
So far the kid’s been right. So, not today, either … π

Yeah, well, truth is truth … π
1. I’m old (certainly ancient compared to him, especially as I’m even older than his dad–something he found unfathomable, given that I’m ‘more smaller’ than his dad, so how can I possibly be ‘bigger’ π Language and concepts are such complicated things … π ).
2. Not today … π

Oh yes. The truth from the eyes of a child.
1. My co-workers? 70% of them, I could be their mother. A few of them have parents younger than me. Uh huh… Pow! Right twixt the eyes…
2. Not tomorrow either.
