“So the lower level is buried under and the upper level is inaccessible. Apt. Shouldn’t it say ‘Dung View’?”
Darlene chuckled. Mom wasn’t shy about imparting opinions. Darlene was not all that different, even if she didn’t always find words to be necessary.
Necessary. The double meaning turned her giggle into a guffaw.
“What?” Mom insisted. She hated being left out.
“Nothing necessary…” Darlene’s laughter intensified. She clasped at her belly and tried to point. “Or … perhaps it is…”
Mom eyed the outhouse. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
“Drop your snow-pants. I’ll dig you a chamber pot.”

So nice to see you in my inbox! And with a humdinger of a post, to boot! So smart.

🙂 I was a bit remiss of late, eh? Running after a bit too many things, and one arm a bit out of commission with an inflamed shoulder, and and and … But(t), a gal cannot ignore an outhouse pun, so … 😉
Here’s to all things … um … necessary … 😉

You are totally allowed. We all need to back away now and again. Hope the shoulder is okay now. I dunno that I shall play this week. There are only so many places to go with this image.
Here’s to all things!

Thanks! That shoulder is currently on a hyper-inflammatory (non)roller coaster … so I’m leaving it to the PT to torture me in the name of repairing it … 😉 As for the FF for this week … you know that when you gotta go, you gotta go … 😉

And. Yeah.

Na’ama Y’karah,
Sorry to hear about the shoulder. No fun. I’m glad you participated this week. Who can resist squatting…er…stooping to potty humor. And, I might add, you’ve risen to the occasion. 😉 Sometimes it’s just necessary.

Great use of humor, Na’ama. Sorry to hear you have to deal with the PT world. 🙂

Thanks, Bill! 🙂 Humor is fun when it is shared. 🙂
As for the PT world, I’m not a novice to it … so it is more like a ‘here we go again’ this time with a different body part. Can’t complain, though, given that at least I have good care!
