“No way I’m doing that!” Ming shook his head.
“Oh, come on, don’t be a wimpy dimpy!”
Ming narrowed his green eyes at Mei-Mei, whose body was swishing in what he knew was part-dare, part-enticement, part-mockery.
“Not happening,” he turned to leave.
“Ha! I knew it! Told General Tso you’d be too chicken to give it a whirl.”
Ming hissed. That hurt. Mei-Mei was beautiful, but mostly on the outside.
He swished his tail at her. “You wanna ride the toilet paper? Go ahead. Roll with it. Be my guest. I’m not falling into that bowl.”
Again … Once was enough.

Meow meow meow, Na’ama,
Love the General Tso chicken reference. I raise my chopsticks in salute. This was all kinds of delightful. Five out of five (egg) rolls.
Shalom,
Rochelle

What is it with cats and toilet paper? Something like a ball of yarn, I suppose. Cute story, Na’ama!

I suppose it speaks to their hunting instincts and playfulness … sort of like yarn, eh? Still hilarious to see! 🙂 Glad you liked the little story … 😉

Yay! I think Ming had enough humiliation for now … let Mei-Mei fall in the toilet bowl if she’s so keen on rolling in it … 😉

Perhaps this could be an added scene to the musical ‘Cats” during the interval. (Toilet break).
I like how you played with the female –dare–control over the male. The games that couples play.

Ah, that might add a certain tune to it, wouldn’t it? 🙂
I am glad you liked the little story and the interplay … 🙂

Yea. And on top of everything else there’s the family consultations regards the arrangements for my father’s funeral.

Indeed. It is an expected part of the cycle of life, but it does not mean it is simple. Sending good juju …

Thanks. My sister & my middle daughter & me share the same beliefs, and we’re fine with death. But other family members… it can be draining.

I bet it can be! Breathe … and may all remember that it is not a failure to die. It is part of living to reach the end of a life cycle. Hopefully after a long fulfilling life, hopefully with minimal suffering. But end life does. And it is all okay.

A very creative take on the story. We had cats growing up and they loved to play with the toilet paper. Must be a cat thing. Glad he was cautious and didn’t end up in the bowl. Have a nice weekend, Na’ama!

Thanks, Brenda! 🙂 Yes, must be a cat thing … though I’ve known dogs to do that, too … pull the end of the roll and go for it … 😉
