This took me back to a particular job I had a few years ago. I joined with great ideas but I had to modify them to the point where I didn’t recognise as mine before they were accepted.

Perhaps we ought to name this current period as the Age of Paradoxes. So many, in so many different areas of life.

Indeed so many!
Some, I’d argue, have been around for a long time, and people seem to manage to dissociate from them … like the religious claim of compassion as a tenet while also burning people alive … or of tithing while those in charge also fleeced and bribed … but, yeah … these times are certainly quite filled with paradox.
