“It that better?”
“No! You made it worse!”
“Sorry. What direction?”
“To the right! No, the left. I mean, to my right, not your right! There. No! Stop! You over did it. Now it’s worse again.”
“Fine. I’ll go slowly. Tell me when.”
“When. I mean, not yet. Stop! No, a little more.”
“Are you sure it isn’t straight? You’re a little lopsided yourself. Have a sip of water, maybe.”
“I’m fine. Stop micromanaging me. I’m concentrating. Shush and let me see …”
“Go ahead. Take your time. Don’t mind me. I’ll just perch here and twiddle my vines.”

Twiddling vines is a great idea. Keeps trouble to a minimum

For the most part, yes … though I must say I’ve seen some naughty twiddlers in my time … 😉

And perhaps Miss Wilted Flower there could heed a friendly nudge and take a sip of water … One gets grumpy when one is lopsided … 😉

I’ll be honest and say I didn’t realize that the plant was straightening the picture on the wall until I read this… Yeah, I think that’s how the conversation usually goes.

Twiddly says he’ll forgive you, for humans often do not notice all the many things plants do in their homes for them everyday (to be fair, most of these take place while humans aren’t looking…) 😉

Na’ama Y’karah,
Now that you mention it, the plant does look like it’s trying to straighten the picture. The dialogue sounded a lot like my husband and me when we collaborated on arranging knickknacks on a ledge we have over the kitchen. He arranged while I directed. 😉 Fun story but that plant would put me on edge a bit.
Shalom,

Dear Rochelle, a little Dale-bird told me that it is your birthday! HAPPY B!!
As for the plant – I’d watch out. Read Dale’s entry (and Twiddly’s comment back to her) if you wanna know why.

Reminds me… I got a new bookcase this week. Hubby waited until I was napping Monday afternoon and put it together. He said it was easier that way. Silly man.

Ah, well, as long as HE put it together while YOU napped, and not the other way around, I guess there’s nothing to complain about … 😉
I might need a bookcase (and a nap) sometime next month. Does he hire out?

I’m sure he would hire out…hehe! Actually, he’s not really very good at building things (splintered wood on the new bookcase as a reminder). But, he thought he was helping so I’ll be nice about it and super glue and paint over the nick while he’s at work.

Thar you go! That’s the right thing to do, I think, for bookcases are replaceable and good people aren’t … 🙂

🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’d watch out for them twiddlies, though. Just in case.

🙂 Ah, Keith, I know a few more people (who shall remain unnamed …) who are the same … But then again — how many have vines to twiddle? 😉

The more it twiddles, the worse it gets. Isn’t that just the way? 🙂

Talking with plants is so therapeutical, perhaps she could straighten the picture while she is up there.

Ah, ha, ha. It does look like the plant is straightening. the picture at that. It’s stronger than it looks. A cute and funny story. Well done, Na’ama. 😀 — Suzanne
