Photo: Atara Katz
As you rumble along
Under skies
Blue like song,
Do you travel
Afar
To the past
In this car?
What new memories
You’d share
Of what’s found
Over there?
Do days gone
Still speed on
Scene by scene
Gray and green
By the glean
Of your machine?
For the Sunday Stills Challenge: Vintage
57 Chevy really fits the bill as Vintage. The charming poem is an added bonus.

Lovely rhythm and rhyme and a nice way of using the prompt.

Wouldn’t it be great if there were vintage cars that took us back to take a glimpse of the past? I love that idea. Your photo has wonderful colours. It’s very eye-catching.

Thank you — the photo is my niece’s — and I agree! I think it would be fantastic if a vintage car could take us back to glimpse the past (as long as they also remembered to bring us back to the present time — I am rather partial to internet … ;)) Na’ama
